The Apleona HSG Facility Management UK and Ireland Board has been strengthened with three new appointments, two of which are as a result of internal promotions.
Jacqui Paice has been promoted to the position of Managing Director for UK FM. Jacqui initially joined the business more than eight years ago to manage one of the UK’s largest retail portfolios, before taking on the role of UK FM Operations Director in June 2017.
Originally from Woking in Surrey, Jacqui boasts 30 years’ experience of People Management, having started her career in the catering industry. She succeeds Peter Young who has departed as per a planned timescale agreed 12 months previously and leaves with the thanks and best wishes of the Board.
Also internally promoted is Heather Steel, who has been appointed as Managing Director of Workspace; Apleona’s specialist design, consultancy, fit-out and moves management business. Heather, who lives in Ayrshire, joined the company as Commercial Director in late 2018 after previously being employed in senior Commercial roles for more than 15 years.
The third new Board appointment is Chief Financial Officer Douglas Hogg. Prior to joining Apleona, Douglas was Chief Financial Officer at Ingenico, initially with responsibility for the UK, Ireland and Nordics before this expanded to include Europe, Middle East and Africa. In his new role, Douglas will focus on the improvement of systems and controls to drive efficiency and effectiveness across all main financial processes.
James Thoden van Velzen, Apleona UK and Ireland Chief Executive Officer, said: “I am delighted to welcome Douglas to the business and to promote Heather and Jacqui to the Board.”
