New UK Head Office already feels like home!

Apleona’s new UK head office recently opened its doors to colleagues and visitors for the first time.

Located within the attractive London Docklands, City Reach is served by ideal transport links including the Underground and DLR, with the office only a five-minute walk from Crossharbour station. In addition, it is only half an hour away from London City Airport for those travelling from further afield.

Liaising closely with CEO James Thoden van Velzen, Apleona’s dedicated Workspace team has created a modern and attractive office environment. Tim Forster, Apleona Workspace Senior Designer, said: “With the new head office project we have given particular focus on collaborative working, 1-2-1 engagement, the hosting of meetings and utilisation of hot desks.

“In addition, designated social areas have also been introduced, not only for refreshment purposes but to also improve communication amongst colleagues across all Apleona functions, all while combining new innovative products with the reuse of existing furniture from our previous office.”

The project took approximately four weeks to design, build and furnish with everything in-place for colleagues to relocate to City Reach as scheduled.

We have only been here a short while but the way the office space has been used already makes us feel more like one team. Personally speaking, I’m particularly happy as my new desk has a great view of the water setting outside!”
