Saving Colworth Park energy and time with total facilities management
Set within 91 acres of picturesque grounds in Bedfordshire and centred around the original 18th century Grade 2 listed Colworth House, Colworth Park is a leading science park and research campus.
This hub of serviced offices and laboratory spaces houses over 1,000 staff working for a variety of companies on-site, from small start-up ventures to global companies.
We have delivered a full range of services here since 2017 – from building cleaning solutions and reception/security to energy facilities management and beyond. Thanks to our success across a number of service lines, we’ve grown the initial scope of the contract to total FM, and we now offer an on-site catering service.

Abos has allowed for energy usage and mechanical failures to now be clearly linked, tracked, and reported on, providing more meaningful reporting for our client and their customers.
It has led to significant energy savings by quickly identifying ‘out of parameter’ alerts and instructing a speedy response.
It allows enabled targeted reactive maintenance planning, reducing the overall time spent on planned maintenance activities and minimising system downtime and contract costs.
We have implemented the use of electrolysed water as a surface sanitiser, replacing chemical-based cleaning products used at the site.
