This Earth Day, we shine a light on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) – a collection of 17 global goals to improve the planet and the quality of human life around the world by the year 2030.
Using the SDG as a guide, and with thanks to the work of our Sustainability Manager, Katerina Robinson, we have focused on three key global targets. These goals reflect the priorities of our clients and key stakeholders and align with areas we can influence as a business.
We have an important role to play in driving our net zero carbon pledge through our services for clients. So, championing energy efficiency, the circular economy and innovation through the services we provide is at the core of our sustainability strategy. Through this, we can make every day that Apleona touches an ‘earth day’.
We aim to be the ‘employer of choice’ by investing in the training opportunities of our people and the next generation of FM professionals. And to enhance diversity within our teams, we will continue to work with our recruitment partners – helping any disadvantaged individuals into employment.
