Last week, Apleona UK proudly hosted its inaugural large-scale Supplier Event in the West Midlands, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback that highlighted the event’s triumph.
The two-day event started with a full-day conference that gathered attendees from both the supply chain and the Apleona team. Presentations from Apleona and its supply partners covered important topics such as sustainability, carbon reporting and innovation. Key themes included improving collaboration between the supply chain when developing customer solutions, the future of facilities management, and identifying and bringing an end to modern slavery.
Through insightful presentations and engaging workshops, key messages were effectively communicated, best practices shared, and opportunities identified for future collaboration.
The conference culminated with the presentation of Apleona’s Supplier of the Year awards, which honoured the dedication and collaboration of ten exceptional winners and recognised their hard work and valuable commitment.
The second day at Cranmore Park Exhibition Centre featured 81 of Apleona’s preferred suppliers, who presented their services and innovative solutions, drawing over 500 visitors and creating a dynamic environment for networking and collaboration.
Sanil Singh, Apleona UK’s Head of Procurement, is humbled: ‘We couldn’t have expected a better outcome. Thank you to each and every one of you involved in these two days. We have learnt a lot and I am eager to start planning for The Supplier Partner Show in Autumn 2025.’
Meanwhile, Adrian Connor, Apleona UK’s Managing Director, praised the event as ‘absolutely overwhelming.’ He expressed gratitude to all our supply partners for their support and to the team behind the scenes for its success. He states: ‘Our supply chain have such a vital role. They share our commitment to carbon reduction and innovation, enabling Apleona to develop and implement service solutions that are genuinely customer-focused.'
