Apleona UK is delighted to expand its customer base to include DS Smith Kemsley Paper Mill, the largest paper mill for recycled papers in the UK and the second largest in Europe.
DS Smith Kemsley Paper Mill is part of the wider DS Smith Plc, a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions, paper products and recycling services worldwide. Founded in the 1940s, DS Smith Plc operate in over 30 countries with a workforce of over 30,000 employees.
At Kemsley Mill, Apleona will deliver facilities management solutions and catering services, with an initial focus on introducing cost-effective innovations that enhance operations, improve efficiency and sustainability.
Apleona’s Regional Director Rachel Broughton-Stronghill will oversee the contract and says: ‘It’s fantastic to expand our manufacturing delivery with a client who has a focus on innovation, growth, and commitment to sustainability. We are keen to hit the ground running and have plenty of initiatives to propose, to optimise the services provided.’

The contract commenced on 1st December and is for one year initially.
