This Apprenticeship Week, we celebrate of our commitment to nurturing talent and developing skills at Apleona. We are proud to support 63 employees across Apleona UK who are currently enrolled in an apprenticeship scheme, ranging from engineering, facilities management, payroll, marketing, project management and more.
A highlight is our dedicated cohort from our Technical Solutions division, nearing completion of their 24-month ILM Diploma Apprenticeships at either Team Leader or Operations and Manager levels - designed to empower mid-level managers with enhanced leadership capabilities.
Reflecting on their journeys, Simona Bulacu, Head of Business Admin and Operational Finance, shares, “Balancing the programme with a busy role is challenging, but the shared experience and mutual support make it worthwhile. I’ve felt the benefits in my leadership capabilities and know this will transfer to the continuous development of my team and operational success.”
Sasha Kaur, Senior Finance Assistant, adds, “Before I knew it, early mornings, late nights, and weekends spent writing assignments became the norm. Netflix and nights out were quickly replaced with researching models and theories, analysing self-assessment results, and reflecting on my own practice."
"What I didn’t expect was just how much I would enjoy the process, or how much I would grow both personally and professionally, along the way."
Congratulations to all who have completed their apprenticeships, and best wishes to those members of the team beginning their journeys. Aligned with our commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 8 - ‘Decent Work and Economic Growth’, Apleona UK aims to expand apprenticeship opportunities, with a target of launching a minimum 10 new cohorts in 2026.
